This week, at dusk, I looked at Jupiter through a telescope and saw four of her moons, like tiny pinpricks of light.
The experience made me aware of how little I know about the night sky and the constellations.
Later that evening, I decided to experiment with learning one new thing about the night sky every week for a year. By the end of 2012 my knowledge of astronomy should be a little better.
Especially if I go outside and take the time to look up.
